Since 1995, the Dairy Trade Coalition (DTC) has championed the cause of the family dairy farmer in the U.S.  Today, dairy farms are struggling for survival amidst low milk prices and an uncertain future in the face of free trade. For the past several years, the DTC has battled for action against the adverse effects of state trading enterprises (STEs), such as the New Zealand Dairy Board (NZDB), and World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations that have severely impacted U.S. agriculture.  Chronicled through these pages are background reports, position papers, supporting documents, speeches, official Congressional testimony and more, all espousing action.  On the eve of future trade negotiations, these issues take on a new urgency.  For more information on the DTC, investigate the current news on the trade front and peruse our membership profile and philosophy statement.
