Americans for Call Center Transparency

U.S. companies have increasingly shipped call center jobs overseas and Americans are being negatively impacted as a result. Overseas based call centers don’t just remove vital jobs from the U.S. economy, but they also increase the risk that America’s most vulnerable consumers will become victims of identity theft and data fraud, while circumventing US laws that keep Americans safe.

Americans for Call Center Transparency (A.C.C.T.) was founded with the goal of building a grassroots consumer advocacy army that will help protect American consumers and prevent victimization from overseas call centers. We, in collaboration with our A.C.C.T.  members, work to educate lawmakers about the need for legislation to protect the privacy and data rights of American consumers, safeguard American jobs, and reduce consumer frustration when interacting with overseas-based call centers.

Effective advocacy begins with good data. At A.C.C.T., we want to hear directly from U.S. consumers in order to better understand their views and experiences with overseas based call centers. For more information please fill out the information below.
